Your key protein update
Younger people want it. Athletes flex it. And older people lose too much of it. It’s called ‘muscle’ and it's a hot topic with new research in sports, fitness, type 2 diabetes and the aging population.
Protein supplements are promoted as a sure-fire way to gain lean muscle. So, are supplements just for athletes or should we all be taking these to optimise protein intake?
This third dynamic Fad Or Future? event will fast-track your knowledge and know-how about muscle, protein and supplementation.
How much protein do you need to maintain or gain muscle?
Can you get enough protein from your diet?
How effective are protein supplements for muscle growth or preventing sarcopenia?
What is the latest on protein type and timing?
Are protein supplements safe?
What ingredients should you look for or avoid in a protein bar or shake?
Whether you are a dietitian, nutritionist, fitness professional, athlete or body builder, this event will help you find the facts and perspective in between the opinions and debate.
